The attorneys at Everett Gaskins Hancock are deeply involved in the life of North Carolina and our community, serving on various boards and actively participating in school, church, and community activities. We embrace our professional responsibility to enhance the practice of law, both through our active participation in bar activities at the county, state, and national levels and through the mentoring of law students and young attorneys who represent the future of our profession.
The Firm’s attorneys have been instrumental in the formation of notable non-profit organizations such as the Public School Forum of North Carolina, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, and EducationNC, and have successfully advocated on behalf of North Carolina’s Low Wealth Schools Consortium for the enforcement of every child’s right to a sound, basic education. Our attorneys have served as president of the Wake County Bar Association and on the Chief Justice’s Commission of Professionalism, founding chair of the Public School Forum of North Carolina and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, and chair of the City of Raleigh’s Board of Adjustment. In addition, the Firm’s attorneys maintain active involvement with numerous committees and commissions to further the practice of law and to improve our community.
