James Hash Obtains Trial Verdict in SEO Software Trade Secret Case

James Hash served as lead counsel for plaintiffs in a trial involving misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair trade practices claims in the context of search engine optimization (“SEO”) software. George Enters. Int’l, Inc. v. Marshall, 10 CVS 12635 (Wake Co. Super. Ct. Aug. 29, 2013).  After an eight-day bench trial, the Wake County Superior Court entered judgment in plaintiffs’ favor on their trade secret claims in the amount of $87,702 and trebled that amount pursuant to North Carolina’s Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
