Ed Gaskins was elected to a three-year term on the Senior Lawyers Division Council of the North Carolina Bar Association at the May meeting of the Division held at the Homestead. The Council was organized in 1991 to “uphold the honor of the profession of law, to apply the knowledge and experience of the profession to the public good and to encourage adherence to the principles of professionalism among the members of the Bar.” Lawyers 55 years of age who have practiced for 25 years are eligible for membership. This election continues Ed’s long standing interests in serving the public and the Bar in promoting professionalism and mentorship.
