EGH welcomes student Weldon Coates as a pro bono extern for the spring of 2021. Weldon is a 3L at Campbell Law School, where his team most recently won the National Civil Trial Competition held in Los Angeles. Weldon is also a member of the Campbell Law Honor Court. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated cum laude. Weldon has previously interned for the Honorable John Tyson of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. In his role at EGH, Weldon will assist with pro bono matters referred from Legal Aid of North Carolina, including landlord-tenant disputes, debt resolution, and contract disputes.
