On Behalf of | Dec 9, 2022 | Firm News

We congratulate EGH managing partner James Hash for being elected President-Elect of the Tenth Judicial District Bar by vote of the membership at its Annual Meeting on December 6.  The State of North Carolina is divided into 45 Judicial Districts.  A licensed attorney must belong to a district Bar in order to maintain a good standing as an active attorney in North Carolina.  The Tenth Judicial District handles judicial elections and grievance investigations.

Following a year’s service as President-Elect, James will automatically take office as President in December 2023.  James has previously served on the Wake County Board of Directors for the WCBA and Tenth Judicial District, as Chair for the WCBA Strategic Plan Implementation Committee, as Chair for the WCBA Communications/Technology Committee, and as Editor of the Wake Bar Flyer.

James is a graduate of UNC and Campbell Law School.  He has been repeatedly recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Business North Carolina Legal Elite.  James’ practice primarily includes business and commercial litigation, estate litigation, and creditors’ rights.
